One motorway, about an hour and ten minutes from Swansea and a couple of hours from Haverfordwest, and you’re at a private barn studio in the Usk valley. Alternatively come across the valley road to enjoy fabulous views.

Somewhere nobody knows you
For many women in Swansea and West Wales, the distance is the point. Being photographed somewhere away from home, where you won’t bump into your neighbour or your child’s teacher, makes it far easier to relax and be yourself.
At The Cowshed you’ll have the whole studio to yourself, with time to settle in, a chat over a drink, and absolutely no rush.
Getting here from Swansea
Route: M4 east all the way to junction 24, then the A449 north to Usk. Around an hour and ten minutes.
Parking: free, right outside the door. Level, step-free access.

Making the most of the trip
If you’re travelling over an hour, a longer experience gives you the best value. Inner Goddess includes two hours, two to three outfits, fizz and a viewing you can bring a friend to. Luxe Goddess gives you up to three and a half hours with multiple sets and lighting looks and Ultimate Goddess give you the whole shebang!
We’ll do your planning chat by phone or video, so you only need to make the journey for the shoot itself. Many clients love to come back for the reveal, it's part of the whole experience, but ask me about viewing your images online if you wish to save the journey,

Four experiences, from £295. For clients travelling an hour or more, the Inner Goddess (two hours, two to three outfits) or Luxe Goddess (up to three and a half hours) give you the most from the day.

Is there anything closer?
There are studios nearer to Swansea. Women travel to The Cowshed for the privacy, the countryside setting and a female photographer who takes her time with every client.
What time will I get home?
Most sessions finish mid-afternoon, so you’ll be home well before the evening rush.
Can I book on a weekday?
Yes. Tuesday and Wednesday sessions are £50 off and the M4 is quieter too.
