Worth the journey
You could book a studio round the corner. Be aware of cars and people just outside the door. Or you could drive into the Welsh countryside, spend a day being looked after in a private barn by the river, and come home feeling like a different woman. This page is for the second kind.
A day or why not make a stay of it?
At around an hour and three-quarters from Birmingham, The Cowshed is a destination rather than a quick trip. Many West Midlands clients turn it into a weekend away, arriving the night before, having their session the next day, and exploring Usk, Monmouth or the Wye Valley afterwards.
It’s ideal for a milestone birthday, a pre-wedding treat or a well-earned reset. The kind of thing you’ll talk about for years.
There are plenty of accommodation options and I am happy to recommend. For an extra special treat, why not look at staying at Llancayo Windmill itself, just a short stroll away?

From Birmingham: M5 south, the M50 to Ross-on-Wye, then the A40 via Monmouth and the A449 to Usk. Around an hour and three-quarters.

Milestones worth marking
Forty, fifty, sixty and beyond. Some of my favourite sessions are with women who thought boudoir “wasn’t for someone my age”. I photograph women from 18 to 110, and I know how to light and pose real bodies so you look and feel wonderful.
Bridal boudoir for yourself or to create a special gift for your partner. The reasons are endless and who needs a reason anyway?!
Your experience
Luxe Goddess (£895, or £995 with make-up): up to three and a half hours, up to four outfits, robe and slippers, fizz and a grazing board, a cinematic reveal and a 10″×10″ album.
Ultimate Goddess (£1,495): everything in Luxe plus make-up, your full gallery and a mini session for a friend. Bring her along and make it a girls’ weekend.
We’ll plan everything by phone or video beforehand, so the only journey you make is the one for your shoot.
