Leave the city at the Coldra
Twenty minutes up the A449, there’s a private barn studio by the River Usk where Newport women come to be pampered, celebrated and photographed by a female photographer who puts you at ease from the first hello.
Near enough to pop in. Far enough to switch off.
Being this close to Newport makes everything easier. Twenty minutes and an easy drive. and you’ll be home within half an hour of finishing.
But it won’t feel local. As you drive alongside the river, you will see the windmill on your left. The Cowshed sits at the end of a private drive beside Llancayo Windmill, with fields around it and no passers-by. Nobody will know you’re here unless you tell them.
Getting here from Newport
Route: A449 north from junction 24 of the M4 (Coldra), then follow signs for Usk. Around 15-20 minutes.
Parking: free, right outside the door. Level, step-free access.

Perfect for a weekday treat
Because you’re so close, a Tuesday or Wednesday session is easy to fit around the school run or a day off. Quieter-day sessions are £50 off any experience.
Plenty of Newport clients book the Confidence Experience (£295) as a first step, then come back for more. That’s absolutely fine.

Can I visit the studio before I book?
Yes. Message me and we’ll find a time for you to see The Cowshed and have a cup of tea. No obligation.
What if I see someone I know?
You won’t. There are no other clients while you’re here, and the studio isn’t visible from the road. You drive down a private driveway and into converted farm area. Park right outside. The nearest neighbours are horses!
Can a friend come with me?
For your viewing, yes. From Inner Goddess upwards, you’re welcome to bring a guest to your reveal, but for the actual photography session it is much better if it is just us building a rapport. If you want a chaperone, then they will be welcome but will made comfortable in an adjoining room.
